Not a good beach day to start the weekend!


This morning in Clifton we have cloudy skies along with some sprinkles, temperatures are in the upper 60s.
A frontal system moving through our area today will keep considerable clouds in our area with some light showers, high temperatures will be a bit below normal, reaching to the low 80s.
High pressure will build in for Sunday bringing back mostly sunny skies with highs again in the low 80s but with less humidity.
Very pleasant weather for early August Monday and Tuesday, overnight lows both Sunday and Monday night will be in the 50s with even some 40s inland. Highs will be near 80 with plenty of sunshine and comfortable humidity.
Unsettled weather Wednesday though Friday with shower chances increasing along with warmer and more humid air.

Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.
Monday – Sunny, high near 80.
Tuesday – Mostly sunny, high near 80.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 80.
Thursday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.
Friday – Mostly sunny, still a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, high in the mid 80s.

Marine Forecast: Today – West-southwest wind to 12 knots, seas 2 – 3 feet.
Outlook – Chance of advisory level conditions on Sunday and then again on Wednesday.
