Under clear skies temperatures in the Clifton area has dropped to the upper 50s which is the coolest temperature here since June 20th. Some of the coldest areas of Northwest New Jersey readings are in the upper 40s.
With plenty of sunshine today temperatures will reach 80 degrees with continued low humidity and a bit less wind than yesterday.
A return flow from the south will give us increasing cloudiness on Tuesday with a chance of showers by evening..
Rain will be likely on Wednesday with the heaviest falling Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Also the humidity will be rising with dew points rising to near 70 degrees as a warm front crosses the area.
Chances of showers and thunderstorms again on Friday.
Another cold front will cross the area on Saturday bringing in another cool and dry air mass for Sunday into early next week.
