Excellent August weekend weather!


A cold front came through this morning sweeping the rain and humidity off to our east and setting us up for nice weekend weather.
Yesterday in Clifton we only received a little over a half inch of rain but some places just to our north across Orange county recorded over 6 inches of precipitation.
This weekend will feature plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.
The nice weather will extend into Monday.
Another cold front will cause a chance of showers on Tuesday with slightly high humidity levels.
Behind the front another stretch of comfortable weather Wednesday through the end of next week with temperatures a little below normal, low humidity and mostly fair skies..

The forecast: Mostly sunny, less humid, high in the upper 80s.
Tonight – Partly cloudy, low in the low 60s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.
Monday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 80s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high near 80.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, high near 80.
Friday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

Marine forecast: Today – Northwest wind becoming West-southwest around 11 knots, seas up to 3 feet.
Outlook – Below advisory level conditions through at least the middle of next week.
