Unsettled weather to start the work week!

At dawn this morning it is cloudy, there is even a patch of showers over parts of Morris and Somerset counties and this area may give some of us some rain this morning. Temperature and humidity levels are higher than the last couple of days. We will have mostly cloudy skies today it will be on the muggy side with a chance a shower continuing..
More general showers and thunderstorms after midnight tonight as a cold front approaches the area.
Showers and thunderstorms become even more likely on Tuesday some of these storms could be on the strong side.
After the frontal passage on Tuesday night we will welcome a return to cooler and drier air Wednesday through Friday, temperatures will be slightly below normal and dew points will be in the comfortable 50s.
At this point the forecast for the weekend is dry will moderating temperatures.

Tonight – Mostly cloudy and muggy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, more likely after midnight, low in the low 70s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, humid, high in the low 80s.
Wednesday – Sunny and less humid, high near 80.
Thursday – Sunny, high near 80.
Friday – Sunny, high in the low 80s.
Saturday – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.
Sunday – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.
