Cloudy and mild Halloween, hopefully the showers hold off till after midnight!


With cloudy skies this early morning temperatures are in the mid-upper 40s in the Clifton area.
Today will remain cloudy for the most part but it will be mild with highs reaching the upper 60s, about 10 degrees warmer than normal.
Tonight will be mild with a chance of showers, rain more likely after midnight.
Friday will be a warm but very windy day with gusts up to 35 MPH, showers may be heavy at times especially in the morning. This will be our first measurable rain in about two weeks.
A dry weekend is in store with mild temperatures on Saturday but cooler on Sunday.
A quick shot of cold air on Monday before warming up again by the middle of next week.

Friday – Showers mainly before 3PM, windy with gusts up the 35 MPH, high in the low 70s.

Mostly cloudy and a little milder hump day!


Temperatures this early morning are near 40 degrees in the Clifton area with the 30s further inland.
Today we will have considerable cloudiness around and temperatures will be a little milder than yesterday.
A warm front will be coming through on Halloween with even milder temperatures, at this time most of the day and evening will stay dry and the rain hopefully will hold off till after midnight, nice comfortable weather for the trick or treaters.
Showers will occur on Friday mostly in the morning, temperatures will be very mild reaching the low 70s, it will be windy as a cold front moves through.
Looks like another nice weekend is in store for our area, mild on Saturday but cooler on Sunday.
Monday morning looks quite frosty with possibly the coldest readings so far this season.
After a chilly Monday temperatures will rebound on Tuesday and it should be mild again next Wednesday and Thursday..

Unlike the last two October 29th, the weather will be nice and quiet for this one!


Today is my son’s birthday, Happy Birthday Jared! We had historic weather his last two birthdays with Superstorm Sandy last year and the rare snowstorm in 2011 that actually caused more tree damage in my yard as heavy wet snow fell on trees that were still in full foliage. Massive power outages were experienced in both of these storms..
This morning we have mostly cloudy skies, temperatures are near 40 with 30s inland.
Today we will have partly sunny skies, not as mild as yesterday with highs mostly only rising to the low-mid 50s.
Wednesday will remain dry with slightly milder temperatures but skies will be mostly cloudy.
A warm front will move to our north on Halloween with even milder air, there is a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening but most of the rain should hold off until after midnight.
Friday will be a rather warm day but rain is likely.
Next weekend will be dry with mild temperatures continuing on Saturday but cooler on Sunday.
The dry and seasonable cool weather will extend into early next week.

Pleasant Monday after a chilly start!


A wide range of temperatures this early morning with readings in the upper 30s in the Clifton area and in the 20s further inland, skies are clear with light winds.
With abundant sunshine temperatures will rise to the low 60s by this afternoon.
A weak cold front will cross the area later today with only an increase of clouds.
Our dry spell will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be cooler on Tuesday but rebound on Wednesday.
A warm front will move through on Thursday with a chance of showers and warmer temperatures.
A very mild evening for Halloween trick or treaters but there is a chance of showers.
Showers again possible on Friday with quite mild temperatures.
High pressure will move in for next weekend, Saturday will still be mild but cooler air will move in for Sunday.

Temperatures this morning are milder than the last few as temperatures are in the low 40s in the Clifton area with the 30s inland. We had some overcast conditions overnight but skies have becoming partly cloudy.
Today we will have another mostly sunny day with temperatures around normal for this time of year topping off in the upper 50s.
A little milder on Monday but a little cooler on Tuesday and seasonable temperatures on Wednesday, skies will be mostly fair.
Warmer weather for later in the week with a chance of showers, in fact November 1st the high may top the 70 degree mark.
