Skies are cloudy early this morning with temperatures a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday at this time with readings in the upper 50s in the Clifton area with low 50s inland.
So what happened to all that rain we were supposed to have? Well the high pressure to our north was strong enough to keep drier air over our area while Southern New Jersey and south and central Pennsylvania received heavy rain.
The main batch of rain should stay to our south and west today with only a 50% chance of a light shower here today along with continued cloudy skies. Temperatures will be near normal with highs mostly in the upper 60s.
Improving weather for the weekend as we should see some sunshine and temperatures a little above normal..
Pleasant fall weather should extend to most of next week with temperatures a little above normal.

Marine forecast: Small craft advisory now in effect through Sunday evening for northeast wind gusting to 30 knots, seas 6-9 feet.
Outlook – Advisories may extend through Tuesday morning as seas will be slowly diminishing.
