Cool and dry Monday!


Temperatures this morning are near 30 degrees in the Clifton area to near 20 in the coldest spots of Sussex county. Skies are clear and there still is some gusty winds around.
Large high pressure over New York state will keep it chilly today but with less wind than yesterday.
Looking at the computer models today may be the coolest day of the next two weeks.
Slight warming trend on Tuesday with even milder temperatures on Wednesday.
Warmer still on Thursday but we will have a chance of showers as a cold front moves through.
Cool and dry weather Friday into next weekend but not as cool as yesterday and today.

The forecast: Today – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.
Tonight – Partly cloudy, low in the mid 30s.
Tuesday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 60s.
Thursday – Cloudy with afternoon and evening showers likely, high in the upper 60s.
Friday – Sunny, high in the low 50s.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisories in effect till noon today for north winds gusting to 25 knots, diminishing this afternoon, seas 3-5 feet..
Outlook – Sub advisory level conditions Tuesday and Wednesday with possible advisories for Thursday and Friday.

    We hit 22 this morning … all the birdbaths are frozen ( and maybe the birds too…) … but sure looks nice out from our warm and toasty inside!
