Much below normal temperatures will continue the next several days!


Much colder this morning than yesterday with early morning temperatures mainly in the teens, skies are mostly clear.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sun, temperatures will be a few degrees lower than yesterday but will less wind. There is an outside chance of a snow flurry.

Only some snow showers expected late tonight into Wednesday morning as a cold front moves through the area, accumulations of less than an inch can be expected, a bit more across the southern part of New Jersey.

Thursday and Friday will be dry but very cold especially on Friday when lows may dip into the single digits and highs only in the 20s.

Cold again for the weekend with only a chance of light snow on Saturday.

A stronger storm is expected next Monday that could give us a chance of more substantial snow but maybe this threat will also lessen  as time goes on since the winter shower curtain is now down..

 

The forecast: Today – Partly sunny, slight chance of a snow flurry, high in the low 30s.

Tonight – Partly cloudy with a chance of snow showers toward morning, low around 20.

Wednesday – Snow showers likely in the morning, accumulations less than an inch, clearing in the afternoon, high around 30.

Thursday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 30s.

Friday – Mostly sunny, high only in the mid-upper 20s.

Saturday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow, high in the mid 30s.

Sunday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

Monday – Cloudy with a chance of snow, high in the mid 30s.

 

Marine forecast:  Small craft advisory in effect into this afternoon for west winds to 25 knots, seas 2-4 feet.

Outlook: Advisories likely Wednesday into Thursday.
