Showers persisting through early this afternoon with clearing late in the day!


Some light showers have been occurring in the Clifton area this morning and temperatures are in the mid 30s. Some parts of the area have reported some wet snow flakes mixed in with the rain.

The storm system that gave us the rain over the weekend will slowly move offshore, showers will continue into early this afternoon and it will be breezy, temperatures will rise to near seasonable levels later this afternoon.  The Met game should be played and yes they may have a good season.

Sunny skies on Tuesday with mild temperatures.

More clouds on Wednesday and Thursday but temperatures will continue seasonably mild.

Another system will introduce another chance of rain on Friday and Saturday.

Dry weather should return on Sunday with seasonable temperatures.

 

The forecast: Today – Showers till early this afternoon then clearing, breezy,  high in the mid 50s.

Tonight – Clear, low  in the low 30s.

Tuesday – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

Wednesday – Mostly cloudy, high near 60.

Thursday – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 50s.

Friday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 50s.

Saturday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid-upper 50s.

Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

 

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory in effect through late tonight.  Today – Northwest winds to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

Outlook – Sub advisory level conditions Tuesday through Thursday with advisories again possible on Friday.
