Humid with some showers today; Rain heavy at times on Friday; Weekend looks good!


We have had some heavy showers move into the Clifton area early this morning with lighter showers to our west, temperatures are in the upper 50s.

Today will be a cloudy and humid day, most of the showers will be this morning and we should have a dry afternoon and evening.

Showers will move into the area before daybreak on Friday and continue heavy at times through most of the day and evening, we could pick up around 2 inches of rainfall.

Showers should end before dawn on Saturday and we will have a nice spring weekend with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.

As we head into next week we will still have seasonable temperatures, there is a risk of an afternoon shower both on Monday and Tuesday but most areas will remain dry.

 

The forecast: Today – Showers mostly before 2pm, cloudy and humid, high in the mid 70s.

Tonight – Cloudy and humid with showers developing after 4am, low in the mid 60s.

Friday – Showers with a chance of thunderstorms at night, high near 70.

Saturday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

Monday – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high near 70.

Tuesday – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high near 70.

Wednesday – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

 

Marine forecast: Small craft advisory in effect from 2pm today to 2am on Saturday;  Today – South-southeast wind to 25 knots, seas 5 feet.

Outlook – Advisories still may needed on Saturday for high seas; Sub-advisory level conditions for Sunday and Monday.
