Pleasantly warm and dry Mother’s Day!


Overnight showers have moved offshore and we have mostly clear skies at daybreak with temperatures in the mid-upper 50s.

Plenty of sunshine will boost temperatures today close to 80 degrees but the humidity will be much lower than yesterday.

Very warm day on Monday with highs well up into the 80s and the humidity will start increasing along with some showers possible by late in the day and at night.

A backdoor cold front will move to our south on Tuesday with much cooler weather behind the front with a chance of showers.

Unsettled weather with showers from Wednesday into the weekend, temperatures will be seasonably cool and there will be a continued chance of showers each day.

Tonight – Mostly clear – low in the mid 50s.

Monday – Partly sunny, warm and more humid, chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm, high in the mid 80s.

Tuesday – Cloudy and cooler with a chance of mainly morning showers, early highs in the low 70s dropping to the 60s by the afternoon.

Wednesday – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 60s.

Thursday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.

Friday – Mostly cloudy with a showers likely with a possibility of a thunderstorm, high near 70.

Much warmer after early fog, showers likely this evening; Pleasantly warm Mother’s Day!


Dense fog and some drizzle is occurring at daybreak this morning with temperatures mainly in the upper 50s.

A warm front will finally move to our north sometime this morning clearing out some of the fog and with a southwest wind temperatures will rise rapidly to near the 80 degree mark.

A weak cold front will cause some showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening.

Not much cold air behind the front as Mother’s Day will be mostly fair with continued warm temperatures.

Quite warm and dry on Monday.

Unsettled weather pattern Tuesday through Friday of next week with showers possible each day and with somewhat cooler temperatures.

Continued cool with showers today; Warmer on Saturday with showers; Warm and dry Mother’s Day!


It is cloudy with some fog in the area at daybreak, temperatures are mainly in the lower 50s.

We had a brief thunderstorm around 3am and another thunderstorm is now over the Hudson Valley and may clip us with rain by 7am otherwise today will feature a lot of clouds and cool temperatures, although there is a chance of showers most of the time it will remain dry.

Tonight a warm front will be coming closer to our area with the threat of more showers.

Saturday the warm front will be to our north and temperatures will become warm, showers and thunderstorms are likely.

Very pleasant, dry and warm Mother’s Day with highs close to 80 degrees.

Warm most of Monday with showers developing by the afternoon.

Cooler and damp Thursday!


At daybreak this morning light rain is falling and the temperature is around the 50 degree mark.

Most of the rain will end by noon today but it will remain cloudy and with winds off the ocean temperatures will only rise slightly above 60.

Mainly dry weather this evening but some more there will be a chance of showers after midnight.

As a warm front slowly approaches the area on Friday it will remain mostly cloudy with shower chances continuing.

The warm front will pass to our north on Saturday with much warmer air moving into the area, still there will be some showers and thunderstorms.

Looks like we dry out on Mother’s Day with continued warm temperatures.

Warm and dry weather will continue on Monday, we may see some temperatures rise into the 80s.

More showers possible Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, temperatures will continue above normal.

Another nice day but unsettled weather from late tonight through Saturday!


At daybreak in the Clifton area we have clear skies, light winds with temperatures in the mid  40s,  some readings are in the 30s with some frost in the outlying areas.

Today we will continue with the nice weather of the last couple of days with plenty of sunshine temperatures once again will reach near 70.

Tonight skies will cloud up tonight with light rain likely starting after midnight.

Rain will likely end by noon on Thursday but it should remain cool and mostly cloudy with an onshore wind.

On Friday a warm front will be approaching giving the area a chance of showers, temperatures will be a little milder.

The warm front will move north of us Saturday morning so it will become warmer with still a chance of showers and thunderstorm during the day, highs will be in the 70s and it will be a touch humid also..

Mainly warm and dry conditions from Mother’s Day through the early part of next week.
