At daybreak this morning we have partly cloudy skies, temperatures are mainly in the lower 60s, winds are calm.

The nice weather of the weekend will extend into today with seasonably warm temperatures and reasonable humidity levels.

Tonight the humidity will rise and tomorrow will be a hot and humid day with highs approaching the 90 degree mark, we should stay rainfree.

Continued hot and very humid on Wednesday with shower chances increasing in the afternoon and night.

A front approaching from the west will likely cause showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, some of the rain may be heavy.

The biggest change in the forecast is for Independance Day as the front stalls over our area and a possible tropical system (Arthur?) moves up the coast.  Rain is likely and again some of the rain may be heavy.

The systems move offshore and it looks like Saturday and Sunday will be comfortably warm.

Great weather to end the weekend; Heat and humidity to rise by midweek!


A mostly clear start to this Sunday with temperatures at daybreak are in the low 60s in the Clifton area to the 50s inland, humidity remains on the low side and the winds are calm.

Another nice ending to the weekend as we will enjoy plenty of sunshine, continued warm temperatures and rather low humidity.

Dry and warm weather will continue on Monday with only a slow rise in humidity.

Very warm to hot Tuesday through Thursday with much higher humidity, there is a chance of showers Tuesday night through Thursday.

A cold front will cross the area around Thursday night with cooler and drier air in our area for Independance Day.

At the present time it appears that the string of nice weather weekends will continue for the first weekend of July.

Skies are clear at daybreak at temperatures range from around 60 in the Clifton area to some low 50s in the cooler spots of Northwest New Jersey.

Plenty of sunshine with low humidity will prevail both today and Sunday with seasonably warm temperatures and rather low humidity.

Dry weather will continue on Monday with a slow increase in humidity levels.

At daybreak this morning we have mostly cloudy skies, temperatures are in the upper 60s and winds are light.

Today will be partly sunny, there is a slight risk of a brief shower but most places will remain dry, temperatures and humidity will be slightly lower than the last couple of days.

Another nice weekend is in store for our area with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and rather low humidity.  This will be the fourth weekend in a row of fantastic weather.

Warmer and more humid weather through at least Wednesday with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday.

A cold front will cross the area on Thursday and at this time it looks to be a cooler and less humid Independance Day.

Skies have become partly cloudy in the Clifton area at daybreak, temperatures are in the upper 60s, humidity is a little lower than yesterday but still rather muggy.  Overnight we received just under an inch of rain from the heavy showers that moved through.

Today will be warm and slightly less humid than yesterday.

On Friday there is a risk of an afternoon shower but most area will stay dry, temperatures and humidities will be lower than today.

Another great weather weekend is in store for the area with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.

Warmer and more humid weather for at least the first have of next week with chances of showers and thunderstorms each day but no widespread rainfall is expected.

We have partly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning, temperatures and humidity are higher than the last few mornings, temperatures are in the upper 60s.

Today will be warm and humid, showers and thunderstorms will likely hold off until this evening and likely will continue overnight, some of the rain may be heavy.

Showers chances will persist through at least Thursday morning as a cold front moves through, it will become slightly less humid later in the day.

High pressure will build into the area on Friday giving us plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.

Another beautiful summer weekend is likely with continued warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and reasonably low humidity.

Warmer and more humid as we begin next week and we should stay rainfree.

On Wednesday there is a good chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the west, it will be warm and more humid, the best chance of showers will be in the afternoon and Wednesday night.

After some morning showers on Thursday we should see some afternoon sunshine, it will remain warm and a little less humid.

The seasonably warm weather of the weekend will continue today with mostly sunny skies, light winds and still comfortable humidity.

Clouds will increase on Tuesday along with higher humidity late in the day as a frontal system approaches from the west.

Wednesday looks to be a more humid day and overcast with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Showers may persist on Thursday along with considerable cloudiness.

Dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures Friday with lower humidity.

The cold front will clear the area on Thursday with the return of dry weather, humidity should be a little lower but temperatures will remain warm.

Pleasant weather for the beginning of summer!


A pleasant start of the day as temperatures are in the upper 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 40s in the coolest area of Northwest New Jersey, skies are clear, winds are light and the humidity is low.

Summer begins at 6:51 this morning and it will be a very pleasant start to the season with plenty of sunshine and low humidity, temperatures will be a little below normal for this time of year topping off in the upper 70s.

Gorgeous weather will continue on Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with continued low humidity, temperatures should be a couple of degrees warmer than on Saturday.

As we head into the workweek the dry weather will continue on Monday and most of Tuesday, temperatures will be seasonably warm and humidity will only slowly rise.

Shower chances with higher humidity Tuesday night into Thursday with the best chance of showers on Wednesday.

Dry weather should return on Friday with lower humidity and seasonable warm temperatures.

Looking at the latest long range computer models the next heat wave may occur the last couple days of June into the first few days of July.
