We have clear skies at daybreak this last full day of spring, temperatures in Clifton have dropped to the upper 50s.

Today will be a top 10 weather day with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and seasonably warm temperatures.

The pleasant weather will extend as summer begins at 6:51am on Saturday, temperatures may be a couple of degrees cooler than today due to a light onshore wind.

Sunday will continue to feature plenty of sunshine and highs around 80, humidity will still be on the low side.

Dry and pleasant weather early next week.

Humidity will start to rise Tuesday night through Thursday along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, temperatures will be seasonably warm.

Cooler Thursday with some showers around; Pleasant weather Friday through the weekend!


Skies are cloudy in the Clifton area at daybreak this morning, there were some showers mostly to our north across the Hudson Valley, temperatures are in the upper 60s.

Temperatures today will be much cooler than the last couple of days with highs only reaching the upper 70s, there is a chance of some light showers this morning but looking at the radar it appears most of the precipitation will be to our north.

Pleasantly warm on Friday with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.

Another splendid weekend for our area as high pressure will be in control of the weather, mostly sunny days with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

Dry weather with pleasant temperatures now looks to extend into early next week with the next chance of showers holding off till around Wednesday.

A hot hump day!


A very warm start of the day as temperatures at daybreak are in the upper 70s in the Clifton area, skies are partly cloudy.

Today will be another hot day with temperatures again reaching the lower 90s, humidity will be a little lower than yesterday and there will be more of a westerly breeze, skies will be mostly sunny.

A cold front will cross the area Thursday morning with a chance of thunderstorms from about  3 to 10am, the front will be followed by slightly cooler and much less humid air by the afternoon.

Friday will be an outstanding day for the last full day of spring with seasonably warm temperatures, very low humidity and plenty of sunshine.

We are going with a dry forecast for the weekend at the present time with temperatures a little below normal.

Unsettled weather to start next week with a chance of showers on Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will be seasonable.

Very warm and more humid Tuesday; Hot with a chance of strong thunderstorms on Wednesday!


At daybreak this morning in the Clifton area we have mostly cloudy skies, temperatures are in the mid-upper 60s, winds are quite light.

Today will become mostly sunny and the humidity will increase, temperatures may rise close to the 90 degree mark.

Tonight will be muggy and there is a chance of thunderstorms after midnight.

Tomorrow will be the hottest day of the season so far, it will be rather humid too.  Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening.

A cold front will come across our area Thursday morning followed by clearing, it still be warm but the humidity will slowly decrease.

Very pleasant weather for Friday with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.

At this point the weekend looks a little more unsettled that the last few weekends with a chance of showers on both days, temperatures will be at or even slightly below normal for this time of year.

Looking at the long range computer models it appears no real heat waves are in sight at least through the first few days of July.

Pleasantly warm Monday; First 90 degree readings of the season likely Tuesday and Wednesday!


We have mostly clear skies at daybreak this morning with temperatures in the Clifton area are in the upper 50s with lower 50s further inland.

Another comfortably warm day today as we will have plenty of sunshine and humidity levels will still be on the low side, winds will be lower than yesterday.

Tonight a weak disturbance may touch off some overnight showers and thunderstorms, humidity will start creeping higher.

Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies and along with higher humidity and high temperatures will be around 90 degrees.

A cold front will be approaching on Wednesday causing an increase in cloudiness and a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day and evening, some of these storms can be strong, humidity will be high and temperatures ahead of this front may rise to the low 90s.

Cooler and less humid Thursday and Friday along with plenty of sunshine.

At this point most of the upcoming weekend looks to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures, however showers may move in on Sunday night as a warm front approaches.

Warm and pleasant Father’s Day!


Skies are clear across the Northern New Jersey area early this morning and temperatures in the area are in the mid 50s.

Yesterday we had more cloudiness than anticipated in the afternoon and with a brisk northwest wind it was quite chilly through the evening.

Today we will have much less clouds so the strong June sun will help raise temperatures into the low 80s with continued low humidity, winds will be a little brisk at times but not as windy as we experienced on Saturday.

A warmer week is in the forecast and we may have our first 90 degree day of the season on Tuesday or Wednesday, humidity will rise also along with a small chance of showers by Wednesday.

A cold front will be slowly moving through the area on Thursday giving the area a better chance of showers and thunderstorms.

This front will not move too far to our south so shower chances will continue Friday and Saturday with somewhat cooler temperatures.

Skies are still overcast early this morning and temperatures in the Clifton area are in the mid 60s.

The frontal system responsible for the stormy weather yesterday is moving offshore as a high pressure moves into the area from the west.  We will have clearing skies this morning and it will be a mostly sunny and seasonably warm Saturday with lower humidities, there will be a refreshing northwest breeze.

Splendid weather will continue on Father’s Day with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

Next week will be quite warm with slowly increasing humidity, there will be chances of afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday but no widespread rain is expected.

At daybreak this morning we have cloudy skies with fog along with occasional showers, temperatures are mostly in the mid 60s in the Clifton area and with the dew points also in the mid 60s the relative humidity is at a saturated 100%.

We will continue to have cloudy skies today along with occasional showers and thunderstorms mostly occurring this afternoon and evening, rain may be heavy at times.  Rainfall will average about 3/4 to an inch with some locally higher amounts. Temperatures will be warmer and the humidity will remain high.

Most showers will end by midnight tonight as a cold front swings through the area.

Another wonderful weather weekend with plenty of sunshine, much lower humidity and comfortably warm temperatures.

As we move into next week temperatures and humidity will slowly increase along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures in the Clifton area early this morning are in the upper 50s, skies are cloudy.

Today we will continue to have overcast clouds with a chance of drizzle or light rain showers, with an onshore flow temperatures will again be on the cool side but the humidity will be high.

Later tonight as a warm front approaches showers and possible thunderstorms will become more likely, temperatures will not drop much from the daytime highs only falling to the mid 60s.

The warm front will move to our north during the day on Friday, temperatures will warm to the 80s and there may be breaks in the clouds during the middle of the day, humidity will remain high.  Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous in the afternoon and early evening with heavy rain possible.

High pressure will be moving in just in time for the weekend, we will have plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures but humidity will be much lower.

Warm weather next week with slowly increasing humidity along with chances of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.

Skies are cloudy at daybreak this morning with temperatures mainly in the low 60s, east winds have picked up and are gusting to 20 mph.

During the day today we can expect cloudy skies to continue and it will be cooler and a little less muggy than the last couple of days, winds will be from the east.  There is a chance of a scattered shower but most areas will remain dry.

Thursday will again have lots of clouds around with a chance of a shower or two, high temperatures will continue to be below normal for this time of year.

Shower chances increase Thursday night into Friday along with warmer temperatures and higher humidity, some of the rain may be heavy during  thunderstorms.

Beautiful June weather for the weekend and although it will be warm the humidity will be low along with plenty of sunshine.

Warm next week with showers possible by Tuesday.
