Good weather for the start of the work week!


Skies are mostly clear in the area early this morning, temperatures are cool once again as readings have dropped to the upper 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 40s over parts of Northwestern New Jersey, humidity is low and the winds are light.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine with temperatures rising to the low 80s, humidity will stay low.

It now appears that dry weather will continue Tuesday and Wednesday with seasonably mild temperatures.

The next chance of showers look to hold off till Thursday and Friday but no widespread heavy rain is expected, with clouds and an onshore wind temperatures will be slightly below normal.

Looking ahead to the weekend it appears that we will have another dry weekend with temperatures continuing to be a little below normal.

Somewhat warmer weather is anticipated for the last week of August but no heat waves are in sight.

TODAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

FRIDAY – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 80.

SATURDAY –  Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny, high near 80.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North-northwest wind to 8 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Conditions close to advisory levels on Tuesday then dropping to below advisory levels Wednesday through Friday.
