Pleasant Halloween weather! Only spotty light rain on Saturday! Windy and chilly weekend!


Skies are mostly clear early this morning with temperatures ranging from around 40 degrees in the Clifton area to some upper 20s in the colder inland areas, winds are light northerly.

Today will be a rather nice fall day with temperatures in the upper 50s with light winds.  Clouds will increase tonight but we will stay dry for trick or treaters.

The coastal low now off the southeast coast will intensify well offshore on Saturday, expect only periods of light rain during the day and evening but it will become windy and chilly, rain amounts will be less than 1/4 of an inch, lower amounts inland.

Sunday will be a very windy day with chilly temperatures, winds could gust close to 40mph.

After a chilly start on Monday it will become seasonably mild on Monday with much less wind and plenty of sunshine.

Temperatures will climb to above normal readings Tuesday through Thursday with the next chance of light showers on Wednesday night and Thursday.

Gale warning in effect from 2pm on Saturday till 5am on Sunday.

OUTLOOK – Gale warning expected to continue most of Sunday dropping to below advisory levels on Monday.

Dry with seasonable temperatures today and on Halloween! Chilly and windy over the weekend with some rain on Saturday, snow unlikely!


Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are much cooler than yesterday morning with readings mostly in the low 40s which is seasonable for this time of year, winds are light and there is some patchy fog in some spots.

Today will be a rather pleasant fall day with plenty of sunshine and light winds and near seasonable temperatures.

Clouds will increase for Halloween but we will stay dry for the trick or treaters, temperatures will be a little below normal.

The storm system for the weekend now appears to form well off the coast there will be a good chance of rain but snow is now unlikely even well inland as the colder air will not arrive until the precipitation ends.  It will become windy on Saturday and those winds will be quite strong into Sunday. Skies will become mostly sunny on Sunday.

It should be dry into the middle of next week with moderating temperatures.

Mild with some light showers this afternoon and evening! Cold and windy over the weekend with rain likely possibly mixed with snow Saturday night!


We have mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning with mild temperatures ranging from around 60 in the Clifton area to some upper 40s in the cooler valleys inland, winds are light.  There are some showers across the Poconos.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day it will remain mild ahead of a cold front.   There will be a chance of showers this afternoon and evening but most of the rain will be light with only a chance of a tenth of an inch expected.  Cooler air will move back into the area late tonight.

Dry and seasonably cool weather is expected Thursday and on Halloween.

Cold and windy over the weekend and with precipitation likely to fall over the area during Saturday and Saturday night, at the present time most of it will fall as a cold rain but some may be mixed with snow especially Saturday night, little or no snow accumulation is expected however.

We dry out on Sunday but it still be cold and windy with some wind gusts close to 40mph in some areas.

Milder early next week with dry weather anticipated.

Enjoy this warm fall day because we may have some snow on the weekend!


We have mostly clear skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures are ranging from the mid 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s further inland, winds are light.

A warm front will move through the area this morning and temperatures will rapidly rise reaching the low to mid 70s by this afternoon on southwest winds, skies will be mostly sunny.

A cold front will be coming through the area on Wednesday associated with some showers, it will be quite mild overnight tonight with temperatures only falling to the upper 50s in most areas and reaching near 70 during the day.

After the frontal passage we will return to near normal readings for Thursday and Friday along with dry conditions.

A coastal low pressure system is expected to develop late Friday night bringing the chance of rain on Saturday that may mix with snow Saturday night, it will also be windy and much colder.  At this time it appears inland areas may see accumulating snowfall Saturday night but if the European model is correct we may see accumulations all the way to the coast.

Clearing on Sunday but it will quite cold and windy.

Temperatures recover early next week to normal levels and we may see above normal readings return by the middle of next week.

Much less wind today with plenty of sunshine! Warmer on Tuesday!


We have mostly clear skies early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s well inland, winds are light.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine and although high temperatures will be similar to Sunday’s readings the wind will be much less and it should be a rather comfortable fall day.

Mostly sunny and warmer weather for Tuesday as highs will reach at least the low 70s.

A cold front on Wednesday may be accompanied by some light showers during the day.

Dry Thursday and most of Friday with cooler temperatures, highs will be  around 60 which is near normal for late October.

Strong low pressure will develop well offshore and move up to the Canadian maritime region on Saturday bringing down the coldest air of the season.  Most of the precipitation will stay to our north but we may have some showers late Friday night and Saturday that even may be mixed with snow across Sussex County and the Poconos.   Along with the colder air winds will be quite high over the weekend.
