Pleasantly mild Veteran’s Day!


Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in the Clifton area to the 30s further inland, winds are quite light.

Today will be a quite mild day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching the mid 60s.

Some drizzle possible tonight into Wednesday morning, overnight temperatures will only dip to around 50, also there is a good chance of widespread fog.

A cold front will pass through the area on Wednesday morning so after a cloudy and foggy morning sunshine will return in the afternoon, cold air will not move into the area until the night so expect another quite mild day.

Colder air and mainly dry conditions are expected Thursday through next week, there is a slight chance of rain or snow on Thursday night and another chance Sunday night into Monday, however no significant precipitation amounts are forecasted.

TODAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with fog and a chance of drizzle, low in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY – Morning fog and drizzle then becoming mostly sunny, high in the mid 60.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 40s, chance of rain or snow at night.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southeast wind to 8 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories expected on Wednesday and again on Friday.
