Mild end to a chilly November!


We have mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning with temperatures almost 20 degrees higher than this time yesterday morning ranging from around 40 in the Clifton area to some upper 20 further inland where there is a heavier snow pack, winds are light.

A warm front is moving through the area this morning and today will be noticeably warmer than the last few days with temperatures rising into the 50s despite considerable cloudiness.  Tonight will be cloudy and mild with a slight chance of sprinkles.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday but it still will be mild during the day but getting colder at night.

Tuesday will be colder as high pressure builds into the area but the cold will be short lived as a warm front will be approaching giving the area a chance of light rain or snow at night.

Mild with a chance of light rain on Wednesday.

Dry weather on Thursday with seasonably temperatures.

A weak disturbance will cause considerable cloudiness on Friday with a chance of rain or snow.

Continued mostly cloudy to start next weekend with a chance of light rain on Saturday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly cloudy and mild, high in the low 50s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of sprinkles, mild with lows in the low 40s.

MONDAY – Cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s, colder at night.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny and colder with a high near 40.   Chance of light rain or snow at night.

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy with a chance of light rain, milder with a high in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain or snow, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain, high in the upper 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 6am on Monday for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day Monday but advisories likely Monday night into Tuesday, advisories not expected Tuesday night through Thursday.
