Considerable cloudiness with chances of rain or snow showers through Friday!


We have mostly cloudy conditions early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in the Clifton area to the low 30s further inland, winds are from the northwest around 10 mph.

The nor’easter has moved off the New England coast but the upper level low associated with this low will be affecting our weather the next couple of days.

Today we will have mostly cloudy skies with some rain showers in the area that should change to snow showers this afternoon and this evening, temperatures will slowly fall from the upper 30s that we have now to the low 30s this afternoon, some areas may see a coating of snow.

Considerable cloudiness with cool temperatures will persist Thursday and Friday with still a chance of rain or snow showers.

The weekend looks quite nice for mid-December with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the 40s.

Seasonably mild and dry conditions early next week.

TODAY – Cloudy with rain showers likely this morning and snow showers this afternoon, temperatures falling to the low 30s by this afternoon.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of snow showers, low in the upper 20s.

THURSDAY – Cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers, high near 40.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny with still a chance of a rain or snow shower, high near 40.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high near 50.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 6am on Thursday for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories likely Thursday and Friday with no advisories expected over the weekend.
