Cooler and windy Thursday! Unsettled weather next week with possible strong rainstorm on Christmas Eve!

We have partly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to around 30 further inland, winds are brisk coming from the northwest around 15 mph.

Today will be a mostly sunny day, it will remain somewhat breezy with near normal high temperatures in the low 40s.

Continued mostly sunny on Friday with continued cool temperatures but with less wind.

It now appears that the storm that was advertised  for the weekend will not affect our area so we should remain dry with continued near normal temperatures.

The weather becomes unsettled next week with a weak coastal storm coming up the coast that will give us a chance of rain Monday night into Tuesday.

A stronger storm is expected to develop over the Great Lakes with the frontal systems approaching the area, Christmas Eve will have rain, possibly heavy at times and strong winds.

Christmas at this point looks dry, windy and seasonably cold.  White Christmas very unlikely!
