Cold and dry through Friday! Rain or snow Saturday night into Sunday!


We have partly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures have dipped to the mid 20s in the Clifton area to around 20 further inland, these temperatures although cold are actually near normal for this time of year.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sun, temperatures will be slightly below normal, mainly in the mid 30s.

Seasonably cold weather will continue into Friday along with dry conditions, winds may be a little brisk on New Year’s Day.

A storm system will be affecting the area from late Saturday into Sunday, at the present time it appears the precipitation will fall mainly as rain but may begin with a wintery mix especially inland.

Cold  and dry weather will return next week.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 30s

NEW YEAR’S DAY – Sunny and breezy, high in the mid 30s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy, high around 40, rain or snow likely at night.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with rain likely, high in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny and colder, high in the low 30s.

 

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North wind to 12 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories likely Wednesday into Thursday night with no advisories expected Friday and Saturday.
