Pleasant springlike day after morning fog; More rain on Saturday!


We have cloudy skies early this morning and there is some dense fog around in some places, temperatures are mild ranging from 40 degrees in Clifton to the mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

After early morning clouds and rain we should have sunshine and mild temperatures reaching 60 degrees in some areas.

Dry on Thursday and during the day on Friday with slightly cooler air.

Precipitation moves back in late Friday and will extend into Saturday, looks like only a rain event with some mixed snow and rain well inland Friday night before changing to rain on Saturday.

Some lingering showers possible with near normal temperatures on Sunday.

Dry and seasonably mild weather is expected on Monday and on St. Patrick’s Day.

TODAY – Clouds and fog this morning giving way to sunshine, high in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 30s.

THURSDAY – Sunny and not as mild, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s, rain after midnight.

SATURDAY – Rain, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-northwest winds to 9 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisory may be needed for tonight, no advisories expected on Friday with small craft advisories possible over the weekend.
