Another colder than normal March day with less wind! Milder with showers Wednesday night through Thursday night!


We have mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures range from the mid 20s in Clifton to some teens in far Northwest New Jersey, winds are light.

Today we will have mostly cloudy skies this morning becoming mostly sunny this afternoon, high temperatures will be around 10 degrees below normal but with much less wind than the last few days.

Wednesday we will have increasing cloudiness with moderating temperatures but still below normal.  There is a chance of showers at night.

A warm front will move through the area early Thursday accompanied by showers with even a low chance of thunderstorms, temperatures will rise into the 60s.

Friday will have mostly cloudy skies with cooler temperatures.

Cooler than normal weather returns for the weekend, we should mainly stay dry but there is a slight chance of rain or snow showers on Saturday and again on Monday morning.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly cloudy this morning becoming partly sunny this afternoon, high in the low 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 20s.

WEDNESDAY – Increasing cloudiness, high in the upper 40s, chance of showers at night.

THURSDAY – Showers with a possible thunderstorm, milder with highs in the low 60s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny and chilly, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   TODAY – North wind to 7 knots, seas less than 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected on Wednesday with small craft advisory possible Thursday into Friday morning, no advisories expected Friday afternoon into Saturday.
