Cloudy and raw with occasional rain and drizzle today and on Thursday; Milder with showers on Friday; Nice weather for the weekend!


We have cloudy skies at 6 a.m and temperatures are pretty uniform across the area with most readings ranging from the low 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s inland, winds are from the east around 10 mph.

Today and tomorrow will be dreary days with cloudy skies along with occasional periods of rain or drizzle, winds from the northeast will keep high temperatures well below normal with highs both days only in the 40s.

A warm front will cross the area on Friday and temperatures will become quite mild with highs near 70 degrees despite having considerable cloudiness along with showers.

We finally clear out for the weekend and both days with feature plenty of sunshine along with seasonably mild temperatures.

Continued mild into early next week and there is a chance of showers Monday evening into Tuesday.

TODAY – Cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle, quite cool with highs only in the mid 40s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle continuing, low in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY – Cloudy with rain and drizzle mostly in the afternoon and evening, cool, high in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – Cloudy and much milder with a chance of showers and a possible thunderstorm, high near 70.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers at night.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the mid 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Gale warning in effect till 6 p.m. today for northeast wind gusting to 35 knots, seas 6-9 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories expected to be needed Thursday and during the day on Friday, no advisories expected Friday night through the weekend.
