Hot but much less humid air through the weekend!


Skies are clear early this Friday morning and temperatures are range from the upper 60s here in Clifton to the low 60s further inland and the winds are light.  The humidity has fallen with dew points mainly in the low 60s which is a far cry from the steamy upper 70 dew points we had yesterday afternoon.

Today will enjoy plenty of sunshine with continued low humidity, it will still be hot with highs in the low 90s.

A mainly dry weekend is in store with quite warm to hot weather but the humidity will again not be oppressive.

Hot weather early next week with humidity gradually increasing.  A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday giving us a low chance of showers followed by somewhat cooler and drier air for the rest of the week.  No widespread rain is expected for the next several days.

Very warm and humid with thunderstorms likely today! Less humid but still quite warm tomorrow through the weekend!


Skies are partly cloudy early this Thursday morning and temperatures are warm again with readings ranging from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, the humidity is higher than the last few days as dew points have risen to the steamy low 70s.

Today we will see an increase of clouds as a cold front approaches the area, thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening which may produce very heavy rain and strong gusty winds, with the clouds temperatures will be lower than yesterday but the humidity will be higher.  The cold front will cross the area with thunderstorms ending by midnight followed by clearing and less humid air.

Friday through the weekend will be hot with plenty of sunshine but with more comfortable humidity.

Continued above normal temperatures through the middle of next week with the best chance of shower activity will be on Tuesday.  Humidity will be a little higher Monday and Tuesday and then fall to more comfortable levels on Wednesday.

Skies are clear early this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the low 70s in Clifton to the mid 60s inland, winds are nearly calm and it is a little muggy.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures will soar to the mid and upper 90s, humidity will high but not oppressive with dew points mainly in the 60s.

A cold front approaching from the west will give us some showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, the temperature will not be as hot as there will be more clouds but the humidity will be higher with dew points reaching near 70.

An extended period of hot and mainly dry weather Friday through at least early next week, humidity will be lower on Friday and slowly increase through the weekend.

Today and Wednesday will be hot with plenty of sunshine both days, it will be moderately humid, highs today will reach the low 90s with the mid 90s likely on Wednesday.

On Thursday a weak cold front will be moving through the area, it will be a little more humid and there is a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Less humid air will be with us Friday through the weekend, all three days we will have plenty of sunshine with temperatures each day in the low 90s.

Skies are cloudy early this Monday morning and temperatures are warm ranging from the low 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light.  There is an area of showers and thunderstorms across Southern New Jersey moving offshore.

Today we will have plenty of clouds around along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a dying front is in our area, with the clouds temperatures will be lower than they were yesterday.

The heat begins on Tuesday and may last through the weekend, each day may see readings above the 90 degree mark with Wednesday being the hottest day with highs possibly reaching the upper 90s, it will be humid but not oppressive like early last week.   There may be some showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with the passage of a weak cold front otherwise we should stay dry. After the passage of the front we should be less humid Friday through the weekend but still hot.

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s in the Clifton area to the low 60s inland.  There has been some showers across parts of the Hudson Valley.

Today we will have partly sunny skies with quite warm temperatures, humidity levels will be more typical for mid summer with dew points in the 60s, there is a chance of showers mainly this afternoon and tonight but most areas will stay dry.

A weakening front will move into the area on Monday with more clouds than today with again a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Get ready for another heat wave Tuesday through Thursday as we will have highs reaching the mid 90s with Wednesday being the hottest day.  No rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday but a cold front approaches on Thursday may give us some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  The humidity will be higher but not as oppressive as we had early last week.

Today we will again have plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures and comfortable humidity as high pressure is over our area.

A weak frontal system on Sunday and Monday will give us a chance of showers both days but most areas should remain dry, it will continue to be warm with a slight increase in humidity.

A high pressure ridge moving into the area will cause hot conditions Tuesday into Thursday, humidity will slowly increase as the week goes on.

A cold front will cross the area Thursday night giving the area a chance of showers followed by warm but less humid conditions on Friday.

Another pleasantly warm days  today and Saturday with sunny skies and continued low humidity for the middle of summer as high pressure dominates are weather.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are similar to what we had yesterday morning ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light and the humidity continues to be low.

We will continue to enjoy warm weather with low humidity and plenty of sunshine through Saturday, daytime highs will be in the mid 80s each day.

A frontal system moving into the area will give us the next chance of showers Sunday into Monday, at this time it doesn’t appear that we will have any widespread rainfall instead just some afternoon and evening showers, it will become more humid but not oppressive as we had earlier this week.

At this time most of the rest of next week will be dry and hot with moderate humidity.

High pressure will build into our area from the Great Lakes today providing us with plenty of sunshine, it will be warm but with very low humidity as dew points will be in the comfortable 50s.

Plenty of sunshine with continued low humidity tomorrow through Saturday, as we will have a nice stretch of pleasant summer weather.

More humid on Sunday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms that will continue on Monday.
