Quite warm and humid with thunderstorms possible today and Wednesday! Cooler with more rain possible on Thursday!


We have cloudy skies early this Tuesday morning and it is very muggy, temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton with near 70 further inland, humidity is also quite high.

Today the clouds should dissipate shortly after sunrise and it will become quite warm and humid, there is a chance of thunderstorms developing this afternoon, any storms may be accompanied by heavy rain.

After another very muggy night tonight Wednesday will again be very warm and humid and as a front approaches the area we will have a better chance of thunderstorms that may be accompanied by more heavy rain.

The front will move just to our south on Thursday but a disturbance along the front will give us a chance of more rain, temperatures will be cooler.

Nice summer weather Friday through the weekend with plenty of sunshine each day and only moderate humidity levels.

TODAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, humid, highs in the upper 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy and muggy, low in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain, humid, high near 90.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, cooler with a high near 80.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 90.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 13 knots, seas 1-2 feet.  Water temperature around 70.

OUTLOOK – No advisories are expected through Saturday.
