Chance of showers today with showers and thunderstorms more likely on Wednesday! Very nice summer weather Thursday and Friday!


Skies are partly cloudy early this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area to near 60 further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will see plenty of clouds along with a chance of a shower and thunderstorm, with the clouds today’s temperature will be slightly lower than yesterday.

Showers and thunderstorms will become more likely after midnight tonight, it also will be a quite warm and muggy night.

The showers with some thunderstorms will persist on Wednesday ending by evening as a cold front sweeps through the area.

Much less humid on Thursday and Friday with plenty of sunshine.

At this point the weekend will mostly be dry but there is a low chance of a shower and thunderstorm mostly in the afternoon and evening both days.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy and quite humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms most likely after midnight, rain may be heavy at times, low in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy and humid with showers and thunderstorms likely, rain may be heavy at times, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, breezy and much less humid, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm, high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower and thunderstorm, high near 90.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southeast wind to 9 knots, seas 1 foot.  Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible Wednesday and Thursday with no advisories expected Friday through Saturday.
