Heatwave to continue today and tomorrow! Refreshing summer weather Wednesday through the start of the weekend!


After have the hottest day in two years yesterday this morning is starting off very warm with readings in the upper 70s here in Clifton ranging down to the low 70s further inland, skies are mostly cloudy and the winds are calm.

After some morning clouds we will have plenty of sunshine today and temperatures will once again reach the mid 90s, humidity levels may be a tad lower than yesterday by this afternoon.  There is only a slight chance of a afternoon or evening thunderstorm.

Another hot day on Tuesday but again with slightly lower humidity, and also there is only a slight chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm.

A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday night bringing an end to our heatwave with very pleasant summer weather expected Wednesday through at least the start of the weekend, we should have plenty of sunshine each day with low humidity.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Becoming mostly sunny after early morning clouds, hot, highs in the mid 90s, heat advisory in effect.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low around 70.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny and hot, high in the mid 90s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, cooler and less humid, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – Becoming mostly cloudy, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southwest wind to 10 knots, seas 1 foot.   Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Friday.
