Hot today after morning showers! Nice on Wednesday! Cooler with widespread rain likely on Friday!


We have some light showers in the Clifton area early this morning and temperatures are in the upper 60s, winds are light, dew points are in the 60s.

After the showers move offshore we will have a mostly sunny day it will be hot again but humidity levels will slowly decrease by this afternoon.

Plenty of sunshine both Wednesday and Thursday with low humidity, it will still be quite warm on Wednesday but  a little cooler on Thursday.

It now appears that we will have widespread rain falling from late Thursday night into Saturday morning as a low pressure moves along a front to our south, temperatures on Friday will only be in the 70s.

Clearing by Saturday afternoon and it appears that Sunday will be a nice day, temperatures on the weekend will be a little below normal.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Becoming partly sunny after early morning showers, hot but becoming less humid, high in the low 90s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.  Showers likely developing at night.

FRIDAY – Cloudy with showers likely, cooler with highs only in the upper 70s.

SATURDAY – Showers likely in the morning then clearing in the afternoon, high near 80.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 5 a.m. on Wednesday for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday through the day on Thursday with advisories possible Thursday night into Friday night,  no advisories expected on Saturday.
