Comfortably warm weather today into most of Monday! Widespread rain and humid on Tuesday!


Skies are mostly clear early this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s in the cooler suburbs, winds are light.

Today will be another warm day with mostly sunny skies, humidity will remain low with dew points in the upper 50s.

Increasing clouds on Monday as a warm front approaches the area, the day should be dry but shower chances will increase by evening.

Tuesday will have rain with some thunderstorms, look for a good soaking of an inch or two of well needed rainfall.

A return to warm and comfortable dry weather Wednesday though the rest of the week, humidity may slowly rise by the weekend.

Looking further ahead it now appears that we will see more in the way of the typical August dog day weather with quite warm temperatures and high humidity most of next week.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 80s, chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.

TUESDAY – Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some rain may be heavy at times, humid with a high near 80.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, less humid, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 8 p.m. for high seas, winds north-northeast to 11 knots, seas 3-5 feet.  Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisory possible Monday and Tuesday with no advisories expected on Wednesday.
