Heatwave today through Thursday! Not as warm but staying mainly dry Friday through the Labor Day weekend!


Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy over the region this morning and it is quite warm with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton to the mid 60s inland, winds are light.

Today we will have partly sunny skies after some early morning cloudiness it will be hot with highs in the low 90s and with dew points in the 60s it will feel uncomfortable.

The heatwave continues through Thursday with temperatures in the low 90s and continued rather high humidity.

A cold front should be crossing the area Thursday night that may give us a shower.

Not as warm but still above normal temperatures are expected Friday through the holiday weekend and we should stay dry.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the low 90s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the low 90s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny and not as warm, high in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-southwest wind to 13 knots, seas 2 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Thursday but may be needed on Friday.
