Not as warm and much less humid today! Dry with seasonable temperatures this week!

Skies are mostly cloudy early this Sunday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the upper 60s in Clifton to some upper 50s further inland.  The winds have picked up from the north as a cold front has pushed to our east.

After early morning cloudiness we should see a return of sunshine, it will be a little cooler today but much less humid as high pressure builds into the area, there also will be a refreshing breeze.

Tonight will be on the chilly side as readings fall to the 40s in most areas.

High pressure will be in control of the weather this week with seasonable temperatures, the disturbance that is off the southeast coast is now expected to remain well offshore so we should stay dry the next several days.

We have clear skies once again this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to some low 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today will be the last day of well above normal temperatures as the high pressure that was in control of our weather moves offshore and a cold front approaches from the west.  A southwest flow around the high will give us the warm weather with slightly higher humidity.

The cold front will cross the area on Sunday morning, there is a slight chance of a shower with the front but most areas will stay dry.  Following the front cooler and much drier air on a rather brisk north wind.

More seasonable temperatures next week as high pressure builds in from New England, there will be a constant northeast flow of air, at this time no rain is expected but a disturbance off the Southeast coast may be close enough to cause some showers late in the week.

Today we will again have plenty of sunshine with continued warm temperatures, comfortable humidity levels will also continue with dew points in the 50s.

The large high pressure area that gave our area warm and dry weather this past week will move offshore on Saturday with a return southerly flow will continue the warm temperatures with higher humidity as dew points rise into the 60s.

A cold front will cross the area late Saturday night or early Sunday morning that may touch off a shower but most areas will remain dry, temperatures on Sunday will be a little lower but the humidity will be much lower.

Next week looks mainly dry, there is a system off the southeast coast that will move slowly north but at this time should stay well enough offshore and not give us any rain, temperatures next week will be near seasonable with most highs in the 70s.

A weak cold front will be coming through on Sunday and is not expected to bring any rainfall, high temperature will be a little lower.

High pressure will be into the area from New England that will give us a cooler northeast flow of air early next week, it is still unclear if we will get any rain from a system moving north from the southeast states.  At this point we will just forecast a low chance of rain on Wednesday.
