Pleasant weather today and on Friday! Coldest weather so far this fall expected over the weekend!


We have mostly fair skies early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are about 10 degrees cooler than this time yesterday ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to the mid 30s in the colder suburbs, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have sunny skies with seasonable temperatures as high pressure will be in our area.

A cold front will be passing through on Friday we should see an increase in clouds tonight into early Friday becoming partly sunny during the day, temperatures will be a bit above normal.

Another cold front will come through dry on Saturday followed by the coldest air of the season, highs will only be in the 50s Saturday through Monday and overnight lows will be well down in the 30s Sunday and Monday mornings with below freezing temperatures expected across much of the inland areas.  No precipitation is expected.

Continued dry with a warming trend starting Tuesday and lasting through much of next week.

TODAY – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness, low in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy in the morning becoming partly sunny by the afternoon, high in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny and quite cool, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – Sunny and continued cool, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny and milder, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny and mild, high near 70.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Northwest wind to 9 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m till 11 a.m. Friday morning.  No advisories expected Friday afternoon through Friday night, advisories again likely over the weekend.
