One more unseasonable mild day today! Cooler tomorrow into the weekend!

We have scattered clouds early this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s here in Clifton to around 40 further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have partly sunny skies and once again temperatures will reach well up into the 70s.  Yesterday at Walpack, NJ in the northwest part of the state the temperature ranged from a low of 36 to a high of 78.

A cold front will be crossing the area tonight,  at this time the front will not cause any precipitation.

Friday will be much cooler despite plenty of sunshine, high temperatures will be around 15 degrees lower than on today.

Saturday will be sunny and cool.

Another weak cold front will cross the area early on Sunday with a chance of a shower in the morning.

Seasonable temperatures early next week, Monday and Tuesday will be dry but we may see our first widespread rainfall in weeks on Wednesday.

TONIGHT – Cloudy early then clearing, low in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Sunny and cooler, high near 60.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high near 60.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a morning shower, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 60s.


MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southwest wind to 13 knots , seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible on Friday, no advisories expected Friday night through the day on Sunday with advisories again possible Sunday night into Monday.


Congratulations to Met fans as their team swept the Cubs and will return to the world series for the first time since 2000.
