Unseasonably warm weather to continue through Friday! Cooler over the weekend!


Skies are clear early this Wednesday morning and with light winds there is a rather large differences in temperatures ranging from the mild low 50s here in Clifton to some mid 30s in a few of the inland valleys.

Another warm and dry day today with light winds, temperatures may be a couple of degrees lower than yesterday when it reached the mid 70s, but still well above normal for this time of year.

Thursday we will have a little more clouds and a weak disturbance moving through may touch off some light showers at night, temperatures however will still be warm.

A cold front will be approaching the area on Friday but despite mostly cloudy skies temperatures will rise well up into the 70s with many areas will experience record highs for the date.

Saturday will be cooler and we should stay dry with highs still above normal.

Temperatures return to near normal Sunday with slight above normal temperatures early next week with dry conditions continuing.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Sunny, high near 70s.

TONIGHT – Clear with some patchy fog, low in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, high near 70, low chance of light showers at night.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with record high temperatures likely, high in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny and cooler, high in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – Sunny and cooler, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high near 60.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – East wind to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories on Thursday, small craft advisories expected Friday into the day on Saturday, no advisories for Saturday night through Sunday.
