We have cloudy skies early on this Thursday morning and it is quite mild again with readings ranging from around 50 in Clifton to the mid 40s further inland, the humidity is high and the winds are light.

High pressure is moving offshore as a storm system to our west approaches, showers now over Pennsylvania will move into the area later this morning and continue into this evening, southerly winds will pick up this afternoon, temperatures will be mild.

A cold front will move through the area tonight, winds will become westerly and increase on Friday with gusts up to 35 mph, skies will clear by late tonight and will be mostly sunny on Friday. Temperatures tonight and Friday will still be slightly above normal as cold air will be slow to move into the area.

Saturday will be sunny, windy and chilly with highs struggling to reach the 50 degree mark.

After a chilly start on Sunday temperatures will moderate with less wind and mostly sunny skies.

Unseasonably mild for most of next week with mainly dry conditions.

TODAY – Showers mainly after 10 a.m, high around 60.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers mainly before 8 p.m., becoming partly cloudy and windy, low in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny and windy, high in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – Sunny and breezy, high around 50.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m today till 6 p.m this evening for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – A gale warning will be in effect from 6 p.m. this evening till 6 a.m on Saturday.  Small craft advisories will be needed during the day on Saturday with no advisories expected Sunday and Monday.
