Dry with normal temperatures today but with less wind! Warm up starts tomorrow! Possibly 70 degrees on Christmas Eve!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and with the cloudiness temperatures are not as cold as was expected with readings ranging from the mid 30s here in Clifton to some upper 20s in the colder inland areas, winds are still a little gusty.

Skies will become mostly sunny this morning and winds will diminish and even though temperatures will only be a tad higher today it will feel much more comfortable than yesterday.

Warmer air starts moving into the area on Monday, skies will be partly sunny and temperatures will rise into the 50s.

Quite mild Tuesday and Wednesday with shower chances increasing with the best likelihood of rain will be from Wednesday afternoon through early on Thursday.

After a chance of some morning showers on Christmas Eve we should see some sunshine and temperatures are likely to reach record levels with some spots hitting the 70 degree mark.

Christmas Day should be cooler however temperatures will still be well above normal along with mostly sunny skies.

Above normal temperatures should continue next weekend with a chance of showers late in the day on Saturday.

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy with showers likely mainly after 1 p.m., high near 60.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of morning showers, high near 70.

CHRISTMAS DAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-northwest wind to 12 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible on Monday, no advisories expected Tuesday into the day on Wednesday with advisories again possible for Wednesday night into Thursday.
