Mild temperature for the end of January and the start of February! Chance of showers on Monday! Rain likely on Wednesday!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from the low 30s here in Clifton to the mid 20s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a milder day with a mix of clouds and sunshine, high temperatures will be around 10 degrees above normal for this time of year with readings approaching the 50 degree mark.

Monday will be a mild day but with plenty of clouds, a weak cold front will give us a chance of some light showers in the afternoon and early evening.

Mostly sunny skies return for Tuesday, temperatures will a little cooler but stay above normal.

A stronger cold front approaching the area on Wednesday will cause showers with quite mild temperatures.

Cooler Thursday through the early part of next weekend along with dry conditions, the storm that we have been following for Friday looks to stay well offshore so no precipitation is expected.

TODAY – Partly sunny and milder, high in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy and mild, low near 40.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy and mild with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, high in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy and quite mild with showers, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   Small craft advisory in effect till 10 a.m. on Monday for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible advisories Tuesday morning with a cold front passage.  Advisories expected with possible gales Tuesday night into Wednesday with small craft advisory conditions linger on Thursday.
