Much warmer today with rain! Dry with near seasonably temperature the rest of the week! Mild over the weekend!


There is light rain falling early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures have been rising to near 40 in Clifton,  temperatures are still in the low 30s in some of the inland valleys but have reached well into the 40s in some areas and up to the 50s down the shore.

A warm front will pass through the area this morning and temperatures will continue to rise into the 50s along with rain which will be heavy at times.  The rain will taper off this evening as a low  pressure system moves to our north, expect around an inch of rainfall.

We should have quiet weather the rest of the week with dry conditions, temperatures will be a little above normal on Wednesday a little below on Thursday and near normal on Friday.

Milder over the weekend with a chance of some showers on Saturday morning.

A storm system early next week will give us a chance of either significant snow or rain.

TODAY – Rain and milder, breezy with highs in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy, chance of evening rain, low in the low 30s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 30s.

FRIDAY – Increasing clouds, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – Chance of rain or snow showers in the morning then mostly cloudy and mild, high in the low 50s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Gale warning in effect till 11 p.m. tonight for southerly winds gusting to 40 knots, seas 9-14 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisory expected Wednesday and Thursday, no advisories expected Thursday night into Friday with possible advisories Friday night into Saturday.
