Quite cool and windy today and on Monday! Showers likely Tuesday night into Wednesday! Mainly dry and milder Thursday through the weekend!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the mid 40s here in Clifton to around 40 in the cooler inland spots.

Today will be a quite cool and windy day we should start off sunny but clouds will increase this afternoon with a very slight chance of some showers mostly inland.

Near record low temperatures possible tonight as tempertures fall to the 30s with some freezing temperatures across the Poconos, no frost is expected since the winds will be brisk and the humidity will be low.   Plenty of sunshine during the day on Monday but it will continue to be windy with high temperatures a couple of degrees higher than today’s highs.

Tuesday should be dry but there is a chance of light rain developing at night which is likely to continue into Wednesday.

Milder and mainly dry weather is expected Thursday into next weekend.

TODAY – Mostly sunny in the morning becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon, windy with a high only around 60.

TONIGHT – Becoming mostly clear with some record low temperatures possible, low in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – Sunny and windy, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s, chance of light rain at night.

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy with light rain likely, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 6 p.m. this evening for west wind gusting to 30 knots seas 3-5 feet.  Gale warning for tonight.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected during the day on Monday with no advisories expected Monday night through Thursday.
