Showers on this Memorial Day! Dry weather Tuesday through Thursday! Showers again possible Friday into the weekend!

Rain is falling across most of the area early on this Memorial Day and once again we have quite mild temperatures ranging from the upper 60s here in Clifton to some low 60s inland, winds are nearly calm.

We will have showers mainly this morning as moisture moves up the coast from Tropical Depression Bonnie, there may be some breaks in clouds this afternoon but as a cold front approaches the area we may still have a couple of showers, temperatures will not be as warm as the last few days with highs near the 80 degree mark.

High pressure will build into the area on Tuesday and control our weather into Thursday, temperatures will be rather warm on Tuesday but will fall to slightly below normal by Thursday.

Unsettled weather Friday into next weekend as another cold front approaches which may cause some showers, temperatures will be near normal.

Looking ahead to next week it appears that we will have slightly below normal temperatures with no signs of any hot weather returning during this period.
