Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s here in Clifton to the mid 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

A low pressure system will be moving off the Virginia coast today with skies becoming cloudy here this morning with rain developing this afternoon and continuing and ending before daybreak on Sunday, expect around 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rainfall with more falling to our south and less up to the north, temperatures will be cool.

An upper level low will be in our area Sunday through Tuesday with chances of showers each day mainly in the afternoon, temperatures will be near normal.

After having a cool May the pattern will shift as a high pressure ridge will develop on Wednesday bringing summerlike weather through the holiday weekend, high tempertures will be in the 80s. We should be mainly dry but can’t rule out a pop-up afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the weekend.

Skies are clear early on this Friday morning and there is a rather large difference in temperatures ranging from the low 50s here in Clifton to some upper 30s in the colder inland spots, winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a very day with plenty of sunshine and tempertures reaching the upper 70s.

The weather goes downhill on Saturday as a low pressure develops over the southeast states and moves up the coast giving us rain by the afternoon and continuing into the night, rainfall amounts should be around 1/4 of an inch with higher amounts  to our south and less to our north, it will be much cooler than today.

An upper air disturbance will continue a chance of showers Sunday through Tuesday with near normal temperatures.

Warmer weather Wednesday through the holiday weekend with the best chance of showers with a front on Thursday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s here in Clifton to the upper 40s inland, winds are nearly calm and there are some sprinkles in parts of the area.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with seasonably mild temperatures, there is a slight chance of an afternoon shower but most areas should remain dry.

Tomorrow will be a nice spring day with plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures.

Unsettled weather returns for the weekend as a low pressure moves to our south, rain from this system will be mostly south of the area but some showers may move into the area on Saturday. Sunday looks to be dry but with considerable cloudiness.

An upper level low will be in the area early next week giving us a chance of showers Monday and Tuesday.

It still appears that we will have warm weather from Wednesday through the holiday weekend.

High  pressure is building into the area from the Great Lakes but we should still see considerable cloudiness,  temperatures will be a little below normal with highs in the upper 60s.

Nice weather Thursday and Friday temperatures will be near seasonable on Thursday and a little above normal for Friday.

Unsettled weather is expected for the weekend as an upper low pressure area will be over the area, the best chance of rain will be Saturday and Saturday night with possible clearing on Sunday, temperatures will be cool on Saturday but a little milder on Sunday.

Another chance of rain Monday night into Tuesday.

Warmer weather is expected next Wednesday through holiday weekend.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are nearly 15 degrees warmer than this time yesterday ranging from the low 50s here in Clifton to near 40 in the colder inland areas, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have mainly cloudy skies with a chance of light rain this afternoon and evening, rainfall amounts will be less than 1/10 of an inch.  Winds will be much lighter than the last couple of days.

High pressure will build into the area tomorrow and give us some nice spring weather through Friday with plenty of sunshine each day and highs mostly in the low 70s.

The weekend weather forecast is a little less optimistic as an upper air low pressure will be in the area giving us a chance of showers especially on Saturday.  As of now Sunday and Monday we will keep the forecast dry for Sunday and Monday but that could change depending on the path of this upper low with the best chance of rain will be south of our area.

Cool and windy after some record low temperatures today! Good chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday! Mild and dry Thursday through the weekend!


We have clear skies early this Monday morning with some record low temperatures,  here in Clifton it is now 36 degrees which is a record, the coldest reading is a chilly 30 degrees at Walpack.

Today will be a mostly sunny day, it still will be windy but temperatures with the sunshine will be a couple of degrees milder than on Sunday.

A low pressure system to our south will give us a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

A nice stretch of weather Thursday through the weekend with near normal temperatures on Thursday rising to a little above normal over the weekend.

Looking ahead it appears now that it may be quite warm from Wednesday next week through the Memorial holiday weekend.

Today will be a quite cool and windy day we should start off sunny but clouds will increase this afternoon with a very slight chance of some showers mostly inland.

Near record low temperatures possible tonight as tempertures fall to the 30s with some freezing temperatures across the Poconos, no frost is expected since the winds will be brisk and the humidity will be low.   Plenty of sunshine during the day on Monday but it will continue to be windy with high temperatures a couple of degrees higher than today’s highs.

Tuesday should be dry but there is a chance of light rain developing at night which is likely to continue into Wednesday.

Milder and mainly dry weather is expected Thursday into next weekend.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the mid 50s here in Clifton to the upper 40s inland where some spots have dense fog.

Today will start off mostly sunny and temperatures will quickly warm into the 70s by noon, however a cold front will be approaching from the west causing showers and thunderstorms to develop mainly after 3 p.m., some of these storms may be accompanied by strong gusty winds, this activity will move offshore this evening with clearing by late tonight.

Sunday will be much cooler and windy, we should have mostly sunny skies but some instability cloudiness in the afternoon may cause some sprinkles mainly inland.

Monday will start off very chilly and windy with mostly lows dipping into the 30s but with sunshine during the day will boost temperatures to the 60s in the afternoon with winds diminishing.

Tuesday will be dry with seasonable temperatures but there will be a chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Fair weather returns for Thursday and Friday with continued seasonable temperatures.

A frontal system will be moving into the area today and then off the coast tonight, showers will develop by this afternoon, some of the showers may be briefly heavy with a chance of a thunderstorm, with the cloudiness and precipitation highs will be in the 60s.  Rainfall amounts averaging around 1/2 an inch.

Another front will be crossing the area on Saturday again with a chance of showers and possibly a gusty thunderstorm, it will be milder with highs in the 70s.

Much cooler and drier air will move in for Sunday as a Canadian high pressure builds into the area, it will be windy with some gusts to 35 mph.

Mainly cool and dry weather Monday and Tuesday but a chance of showers will return from Tuesday night into Thursday.
