Today will be a mainly cloudy day and very humid with showers and thunderstorms, some of the rain will fall heavy at times and a flash flood watch is in effect for today and tonight.  Rainfall amounts will average around 1.5 inches with heavier amounts possible in some areas.

Monday will still be humid with a chance of showers that may be heavy at times.

More sunshine and less humid Tuesday through Thursday with seasonably warm temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, it is humid with dew points around 70 and the winds are light.

Low pressure moving in from the west will cause clouds to increase today and showers are likely to develop this afternoon and continue into tonight, it will seasonably warm but the humidity will remain high, showers could be heavy at times.

The frontal system will be just to our south causing showers and thunderstorms on Sunday it will remain humid and rain may again be heavy at times.

The chance of showers will linger into Monday.

High pressure will build into the area and control our weather Tuesday through Friday.  Temperatures will start off slightly below normal on Tuesday but gradually rise and we may see some 90 degree temperatures once again on Friday and Saturday.

Rain ending this morning, not as warm but still humid! More rain likely Saturday afternoon into Sunday!


Rain is falling over much of the area this morning and temperatures range from around 70 here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, there is a light southerly wind.

Most of the heavy rain looks to remain to our south this morning and I think the flash flood watch will probably be discontinued shortly.  Most of the rain will end this morning although there may be some scattered showers this afternoon, temperatures will only reach the 80s but it will be humid, total rainfall should be around an inch.

High pressure will give us dry conditions Saturday morning but another disturbance will move into the area from the west in the afternoon, showers will likely develop in the afternoon with a good chance of showers extending into Sunday,  it will remain humid.

Still a chance of showers on Monday followed by mainly dry weather and  somewhat less humid air for Tuesday through Thursday with seasonably warm temperatures.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine this morning with some increasing cloudiness by later this afternoon, temperatures will again reach the 90s for the seventh day in a row and 12 out of the last 14 days, humidity will be higher than the last couple of days so it will feel quite uncomfortable.

Rain should develop late tonight and continue into most of Friday, rain will be heavy at times with 1-3 inches of precipitation likely which may cause some flooding, with the clouds and rain temperatures will only reach the low 80s but the humidity will be high.

High pressure will build into the area on Saturday providing a nice day with mostly sunny skies and seasonably warm temperatures.

Another front moving into the area on Sunday will give us a chance of more rain.

Seasonably warm temperatures and dry Monday through the middle of next week.

Dry weather will continue for Wednesday and most of Thursday and temperatures will once again reach the 90s, there will be a slight increase in humidity by Thursday afternoon.

A front in our area will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday, some heavy rain is possible, temperatures will be closer to normal only reaching the 80s.

A warm front moving through the area this morning will cause clouds and a possibility of some showers but we should see some sunshine and temperatures will rise to at least the mid 90s once again however the humidity will be higher than over the weekend with dew points rising to the 70s causing it to feel close to 105 today, a heat advisory is in effect.  A cold front approaching from the west will likely cause some thunderstorms later this afternoon and this evening, some of these storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.

It will still be hot but less humid with plenty of sunshine both tomorrow and on Wednesday.

A weak front will be in our area on Thursday and last through the weekend which can cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each afternoon, temperatures will not be as hot with highs mainly in the low 90s on Thursday and the 80s Friday through the weekend but the humidity will be higher with dew points mostly in the upper 60s.

Monday may very well be the hottest and most uncomfortable day of the current heat wave as a southwest flow of more humid air moves into the area, with temperatures in the upper 90s and dew points rising to the low 70s will push heat indexes to near 110 degrees, an excessive heat watch is in effect.  Also there will be a chance of thunderstorm activity during the afternoon and at night as a cold front approaches the area, some storms may be quite strong.

Less humid and dry Tuesday and Wednesday but still with temperatures reaching the 90s.

A little less hot but with more humidity Thursday into next weekend with a chance of thunderstorms especially Thursday afternoon into Friday.

High pressure over the area will give us mostly sunny skies and dry conditions, temperatures will reach at least the upper 90s however the humidity will be lower than yesterday and it should be a little breezy making the heat a little more tolerable.

More sunshine on Sunday and it will be a little less hot and the humidity again will not be that oppressive.

Monday may be the most uncomfortable day of the current heatwave with temperatures again reaching near 100 degrees and along with dew points reaching the low 70s will cause the heat index to rise to around 105.  There is a low chance of some afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity as a weak cold front approaches the area.

The rest of the week should remain mainly dry and hot with the only chance of rain will be around Friday, humidity levels should be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Today will be very hot and humid with highs reaching the mid 90s and with dew points around 70 with the heat index reaching near 100, a heat advisory is in effect. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening some of which may be quite strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.
