Hot today and tomorrow! Cooler on Friday with rain likely!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the low 60s further inland, winds are mostly calm.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine along with hot temperatures but again it will not be too humid.

Humidity increases on Thursday as high pressure moves off the coast, we should still see mostly sunny skies but we will have an increase in cloudiness with a chance of showers later at night.

Friday there will be a break in the 90 degree weather but showers and thunderstorms are likely as a front will be in our area, some rain may be heavy at times.

We should see some drier weather on Saturday but there is a chance of showers at night that may extend into Sunday, temperatures will be near normal.

Dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures early next week.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny and more humid, high in the low 90s, chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 8 p.m.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s, chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Northeast wind to 8 knots, seas 1 foot.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday through Sunday.
