Hot and humid today through Saturday! Thunderstorms possible Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Less heat and humidity on Sunday!


Skies are clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is quite warm with temperatures ranging from the low 70s here in Clifton to the low 60s further inland, winds are quite light.

Today will be quite hot and humid with highs reaching the mid 90s along with sunny skies.

The heat and humidity will continue on Thursday but there is a chance of some afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity.

On Friday a backdoor cold front may cool temperatures a bit especially to our north and there will be a better chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A stronger cold front will cross the area on Saturday with again a chance of some showers and thunderstorms.

High pressure will bring cooler weather Sunday through early next week with lower temperatures and humidity along with mostly sunny skies.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, hot and humid, with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 90s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 90s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 90s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny and less humid, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 10 knots, seas 1 foot.  Water temperatures are near 70 degrees.
