Very hot today with 100 degree temperatures possible! Very little relief from our hot and dry pattern through next week!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are quite warm again with readings ranging from the upper 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure over the area will give us mostly sunny skies and dry conditions, temperatures will reach at least the upper 90s however the humidity will be lower than yesterday and it should be a little breezy making the heat a little more tolerable.

More sunshine on Sunday and it will be a little less hot and the humidity again will not be that oppressive.

Monday may be the most uncomfortable day of the current heatwave with temperatures again reaching near 100 degrees and along with dew points reaching the low 70s will cause the heat index to rise to around 105.  There is a low chance of some afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity as a weak cold front approaches the area.

The rest of the week should remain mainly dry and hot with the only chance of rain will be around Friday, humidity levels should be moderate with dew points in the 60s.
