Humid today with showers and thunderstorms! Very pleasant and much less humid tomorrow through most of this upcoming week!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and it is warm and humid, temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm and there are some scattered light showers in some of the area.

Today we will have mostly cloudy skies as a cold front approaches the area it will be warm and humid with showers and thunderstorms developing by this afternoon and continue into this evening, some of the rain may be very heavy at times.

The cold front will cross the area tonight and high pressure building from the west will bring much less humid air on Monday along with plenty of sunshine.

The high pressure will be in control of our weather much of this week with dry weather, Tuesday morning may be one of the coolest mornings in quite some time as most lows will drop into the 50s with some 40s possible well inland.   Temperatures and humidity levels will slowly increase by the end of the week.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower this morning, showers and thunderstorms likely this afternoon, some storms may contain very heavy rain, humid with highs in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms this evening, some storms may contain very heavy rain, low in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – Sunny and much less humid, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, warmer and more humid, high near 90.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 12 knots, seas 1-2 feet.  Water temperatures are near 80 degrees.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m till 6 p.m on Monday.   No advisories expected Monday night through Thursday.
