Very warm and humid today with a chance of showers tonight! Showers still possible tomorrow morning followed by dry and cooler weather that will last through the Labor Day weekend!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and tempertures range from the low 70s in the Clifton area to the low 60s further inland, it is muggy with a light wind.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sun and a southerly flow from a high offshore will cause very warm and humid conditions.  A good chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm this evening as a cold front approaches the area.

The front will move through with showers ending tomorrow morning, following the front cooler and drier air will move into the area.

Ideal weather for Friday through the holiday weekend as a large high pressure area will dominate our weather, temperatures will be at or slightly below normal and the humidity will be low.

Warming trend beginning next Tuesday and look for warm to hot weather most of the rest of the week.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, low around 70.

THURSDAY – A chance of showers in the morning followed by partly sunny skies in the afternoon, not as warm or humid, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high near 80.

LABOR DAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southeast wind to 11 knots, seas 4 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday and Friday with possible small craft advisories for Saturday and Sunday.
