Hot today and tomorrow with only a low chance of showers tonight!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from around 70 in the Clifton area to the low 60s further inland, it is a bit muggy and the winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a hot and humid day as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will reach the low 90s and with dew points around 70 it will be an uncomfortable weather day.  A weak cold front will cross the area tonight possibly touching off a shower or thunderstorm.

Hot again on Friday with a mix of clouds and sun it will be just a little less humid.

A stronger cold front will cross the area on Saturday with another low chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night.

Sunday through Wednesday should be mainly dry with temperatures a little above normal for this time of year along with comfortable humidity.

TODAY – Partly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower and thunderstorm, quite mild with lows in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, hot but a little less humid, high in the low 90s.

SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny and less humid, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high near 80.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southwest winds to 8 knots, seas 1 foot.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday through Sunday.
