Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and once again it is quite warm and humid with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s here in Clifton to near 70 further inland and with dew points in the low 70s it continues to be quite uncomfortable.  There were some showers falling across the Poconos.

A cold front will cross the area later this morning giving us a chance of a shower, the front will be followed by much drier air this afternoon along with clearing and seasonably warm temperatures.

Monday and Tuesday will be very pleasant as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be a little above normal with continued comfortable humidity.

Wednesday will be quite warm with a chance of showers as another front approaches the area.

High pressure will again build in behind the front giving us much cooler and drier air for Thursday and Friday.

TODAY – Cloudy and humid this morning with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, clearing and becoming much less humid this afternoon, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high near 80.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, cooler and less humid, high in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high near 80.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Small craft advisory in effect till 1 p.m. this afternoon for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.   Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through Wednesday.
