Warm and humid today with showers developing late in the day and continuing on Monday! Dry and warm the rest of the week!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings ranging from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to around 60 further inland, winds are light and it is a bit muggy.

A slow moving cold front will be approaching our area from the west, it now that precipitation from this system does not reach our area until later in the afternoon, it will be warmer and more humid today with most highs in the low 80s but mid 80s are possible if we get any sunshine.

The front will cause showers tonight into Monday some of the rain may be heavy at times with a possibility of 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches of well needed rain.

High pressure will build behind this front with dry conditions Tuesday through the end of the week along with warmer than normal temperatures.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, humid, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some rain may be heavy at times, humid, low around 70.

MONDAY – Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some rain may be heavy at times, humid, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny and less humid, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 12 knots, seas 3 feet.  Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through Wednesday.
